I work at the intersection of contemporary art and design. Born in Seoul, educated in Los Angeles, and having worked in New York and Seattle, my diverse background has shaped an interdisciplinary approach to research, visual communication, and creative design.
My experience includes product design at Samsung and IBM, an independent painting practice, and art consulting in New York, where I research artists, develop visual proposals, and support luxury hospitality and residential art projects. Across each role, I've become increasingly drawn to using design as a way to tell stories, and make contemporary art more accessible.
I graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a B.A. in Design. My studies combined design with psychology, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and fine artβa foundation that continues to influence my work today.

Since 2020, I've been sharing my design insights through blogging, a practice that rooted in my long-standing habit of seeking inspiration. I cover a range of topicsβfrom analyzing new platforms to highlighting examples of excellent UX in everyday life. Whether for major concepts or smaller observations, journaling keeps my mind actively engaged in distinguishing good and bad design.
Mobile app that matches elders with caregivers to guide their hospital visits. Research showings on caregivers due to lack of attention for elders

Based on my own experience working for companies in Korea, there's a lack of support for women going through menstrual struggles.

Despite WhatsAppβs promise to ensure privacy, the app lacks front-end solutions that prove confidentiality. Case study proposes locked chats.

Aside from designing on a digital space, I also find joy in oil painting. Because I'm drawn to soft and wet textures, I am inspired by organic objects like oysters, flesh, and pomegranates. I truly enjoy the process of giving life to my paintings through patience and color theory. Check full collection! Ξ΅(´qβ’αβ’`)γ£
